Award-winning precast concrete/steel stud wall panel systems are one of our specialties at MATERIALS, INC. Six-inch studs are anchored to three inches of concrete, which provides a nine inch wall panel with the studs already in it. The steel stud framework has sheet metal screws every foot or so, ready for the screw heads to bond into the concrete. These panels are half the weight of six-inch thick panels with no studs, but just as strong. Several buildings in Albuquerque's Journal Center were built this way. It's strong enough to be anti-terrorist!
